Quran Competition Requirements

Assalamu Alaikum Brothers and Sisters,

The following is information on the age-to-surah requirements for the upcoming Quran Competition at Masjid Al-Rasool.

Ages 5-6: Surah Alfatiha, Al-Asr, and Al-Ikhlas

Aged 7: Surah Qadr and Nas 

Aged 8: Surah Tin and Nasr 

Aged 9: Surah Maun and Kauther 

Aged 10: Surah Shams and Falaq

Aged 11: Surah Inshirah and A'lla 

Aged 12: Surah Zalzala and Dhuha

Aged 13: Layl and Kafiroon 

Aged 14 & up: Surah Jumua or any equivalent surah.
