Imam Ali al-Hadi (AS):

 قالَ الإمامُ الْهادي عليه السلام: اَلْمِراءُ يُفْسِدُ الصِّداقَةَ الْقَديمَةَ وَ يَحِّلُ الْعُقْدَةَ الْوَثيقَةَ وَ أَقَلُّ ما فيهِ اَنْ تَكُونَ فيهِ الْمُغالَبَةُ، وَالمُغالَبَةُ اُسُّ اَسْبابِ الْقَطيعَةِ.

“Argumentation (contentious disputation) corrupts old friendships and loosens firm bonds. At the very least, it involves a desire to overpower the other, and the desire to overpower is the root of the causes of severing relationships."

جدال و مراء دوستی‌های دیرینه را فاسد می‌کند و پیوندهای محکم را می‌گسلد. کمترین آسیبی که در آن هست این است که روحِ غلبه‌جویی در آن وجود دارد، و غلبه‌جویی ریشه‌ی اصلی اسبابِ قطع رابطه است.

20th, 27th DECEMBER and 3rd JANUARY: TIA WINTER BREAK

Taha Islamic Academy will be Closed for Winter Break on December 20th and 27th, and January 3rd, and will resume classes on January 10th, insha’Allah. Families are encouraged to enjoy a restful break, inform teachers in advance of any absences in January, and stay attentive to any homework assigned during the break. The administration thanks the community for their continued support and prays for ongoing guidance through the Qur’an and the Ahlulbayt (AS).

 عَنْ الباقِر عليه السلام قالَ: مَنْ أصابَ مالاً مِنْ غَلُولٍ أوَ رِباً أَو خِيانَةٍ اوَ سِرقَةٍ لَمْ يُقبـَلْ مِنـهُ فى زَكوةٍ وَ لا فى صَدَقَهٍ وَ لا فى حَجٍّ وَ لا عُمرَةٍ

“Whoever acquires wealth through embezzlement or misappropriation, usury, betrayal, or theft, it will not be accepted from him as zakāt, nor as charity, nor for ḥajj, nor for ʿumrah.”

امام باقر عليه السلام فرمود: هركس مالى از راه اختلاس يا ربا يا خيانت و يا دزدى به چنگ آورد، مصرف آن در راه زكات واجب و صدقه و حج و عمره از وى پذيرفته نمى شود

 In the Name of Allah,the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

إِنّا أَعطَيناكَ الكَوثَرَ

Indeed We have given you abundance.

فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانحَر
So pray to your Lord,and sacrifice [the sacrificial camel].

إِنَّ شانِئَكَ هُوَ الأَبتَرُ

Indeed it is your enemy who is without posterity.

مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الْآخِرَةِ نَزِدْ لَهُ فِي حَرْثِهِ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِن نَّصِيبٍ

Whoever desires the tillage of the Hereafter, We will enhance for him his tillage, and whoever desires the tillage of the world, We will give it to him, but he will have no share in the Hereafter.
