لا تَكُن مِمَّن يَرجُو الآخِرَةَ بغَيرِ العَمَلِ و يُرَجِّي التَّوبَةَ بطُولِ الأمَلِ

يَقولُ في الدنيا بقَولِ الزاهِدِينَ و يَعمَلُ فيها بعَمَلِ الراغِبينَ

Do not be among those who hope for the Hereafter without [doing] deeds, and who delay repentance because of long [worldly] hopes. They speak in this world with the words of the ascetics, yet act in it with the actions of those who crave [its pleasures].”

(Nahj al-Balāgha, Wisdom [Hikmah] 150)

Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him & his Family)

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ): أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ! إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ وَاحِدٌ، وَإِنَّ أَبَاكُمْ وَاحِدٌ، كُلُّكُمْ لِآدَمَ، وَآدَمُ مِنْ تُرَابٍ، «إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ»، وَلَيْسَ لِعَرَبِيٍّ عَلَى عَجَمِيٍّ فَضْلٌ إِلَّا بِالتَّقْوَى.

“O people! Your Lord is one, and your father is one. All of you are from Adam, and Adam was from dust. ‘Indeed, the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is the most God-conscious of you.’ An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab except by piety.”

رسول خدا (صلی الله علیه و آله) در خطبه «حجة الوداع» فرمود:

«ای مردم! پروردگار شما یکی است، و پدر شما نیز یکی است. همه شما از آدم هستید و آدم از خاک آفریده شد. به‌راستی گرامی‌ترین شما نزد خداوند، پرهیزکارترین شماست. عرب بر عجم هیچ برتری ندارد مگر به وسیله‌ی تقوا.»

Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (as):

قـالَ الصّـادِقُ عليه السلام: ما كَلَّمَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ صلّى الله عليه وآله الْعِبادَ بِكُنْهِ عَقْلِهِ قَطُّ، قـالَ رسُـولُ اللّهِ صلّى الله عليه وآله: إِنّا مَعاشِرَ الاَْنْبِياءِ أُمِرْنا أَنْ نُكَلِّمَ النّاسَ عَلى قَدْرِ عُقُولِهِمْ.

Imam al-Ṣādiq (AS) said: The Messenger of Allah (SAWW) never spoke to the people according to the full extent of his intellect. The Messenger of Allah (SAWW) said: We, the community of Prophets, have been commanded to speak to people in accordance with the level of their understanding.

امام صادق عليه السلام فرمود: رسول خدا صلى الله عليه وآله هرگز با مردم به اندازه عقل خود سخن نگفت، و فرمود: ما پيامبران مأموريم كه با مردم به اندازه عقل و فهمشان سخن بگوييم.
