مِنَ الْفَوَاقِرِ الَّتِي تَقْصِمُ الظَّهْرَ: جَارٌ إِنْ رَأَى حَسَنَةً أَخْفَاهَا، وَإِنْ رَأَى سَيِّئَةً أَفْشَاهَا.

“Among the calamities that break a person’s back is a neighbor who, when he sees a good deed, conceals it, but when he sees a bad deed, spreads it.”

«از مصیبت‌هایی که کمرشکن است، همسایه‌ای است که اگر خوبی ببیند، آن را پنهان می‌کند، و اگر بدی ببیند، آن را فاش می‌سازد.»

إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا

Indeed Allah and His angels bless the Prophet; O you who have faith! Invoke blessings on him and invoke Peace upon him in a worthy manner.

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ لَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا

Indeed those who offend Allah and His Apostle are cursed by Allah in the world and the Hereafter, and He has prepared a humiliating punishment for them.

وَ التَّخَتُّمُ بِالْیَمِینِ وَ تَعْفِیرُ الْجَبِینِ وَ الْجَهْرُ بِبسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِیمِ‏

“The signs of the believer are five: praying fifty-one Rak’at [including mandatory and optional prayers], Ziyarat al-Arba’een, wearing a ring in the right hand, prostration on dirt, and saying ‘Bismillah hir Rahman nir Raheem‘ in a raised voice.”

عَجِبْتُ لِمَنْ يَتَفَكَّرُ في مَأْكُولِهِ كَيْفَ لا يَتَفَكَّرُ في مَعْقُولِهِ، فَيُجَنِّبُ بَطْنَهُ ما يُؤْذِيهِ، وَيُودِعُ صَدْرَهُ ما يُرْدِيهِ.

“I am amazed at one who reflects on what he eats, yet does not reflect on what he takes into his mind. He keeps from his stomach what harms it, but fills his heart with what ruins it.”

«در شگفتم از کسی که دربارهٔ خوراک خود می‌اندیشد، اما دربارهٔ خوراک فکری و عقلیِ خود نمی‌اندیشد؛ شکم خود را از آنچه به آن آسیب می‌رساند دور نگه می‌دارد، ولی سینه و دل خود را با آنچه هلاکش می‌کند پر می‌سازد.»

وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ
فَرِحِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُوا بِهِم مِّنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

Do not suppose those who were slain in the way of Allah to be dead; no, they are living and provided for near their Lord,

exulting in what Allah has given them out of His grace, and rejoicing for those who have not yet joined them from [those left] behind them, that they will have no fear, nor will they grieve.
